Packages for the 2020 Disney World Marathon Weekend are now available!  Packages in 2020 are different than previous years and less expensive!

General Information

Where: Walt Disney World® Resort, Florida

Date:  January 9th – 13th, 2020

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit per person is required for runners and spectators made via the Running Room website.  The deposit amount is taken off of the package price.

  • Final payment must be made no later than July 31, 2019.

  • Packages are 100% non-refundable without insurance.

How soon do I need to register?
Soon! We sell out every year and have limited entries.

What is the Dopey Challenge?
With the Dopey Challenge participants will run the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Full Marathon. You must register for the Dopey Challenge to receive the Goofy Challenge and Dopey Challenge medals upon completion of all four races within the pacing requirements.

Can I register for the 5K, 10K, Half and Full Marathon separately if there are no Dopey Challenges remaining?
No.  Registering for these events individually will not enable you to participate in the Dopey Challenge.

What is Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge?
Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge is the Half Marathon on Saturday followed by the Full Marathon on Sunday.

Can I register for the Half and Full Marathon separately if there are no Goofy Challenges remaining?
No.  Registering for these events individually will not enable you to participate in the Goofy Challenge.

I see the package includes 4 nights. Can I stay more or less if needed?
Four nights are the minimum but you can stay as long as you like!

If I am participating in the Dopey Challenge what is the latest date I can pick up my race package?
As the Dopey-timed 5K event is on Thursday at 5:30 am, you will be required to pick up your race package at the race expo no later than Wednesday and prior to the Expo closing.

Can I stay at a different hotel?
Unfortunately not.  We have a contract with these hotels and are not offering any other hotels with these packages.

Do I have to book my own airfare?
You can, or, Dream Travel can price out discounted tickets for you. Simply send us your dates and city and we’ll send you the best price available.

Are these prices in CAD or USD?
USD.

What’s the weather like?
Average January temperatures in Orlando are +16 degrees Celsius.

I’m traveling solo – can you assist me with finding a roommate to save money?
We can assist you with finding a suitable roommate but unfortunately we can’t guarantee one.
