The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2025 is one of the Abbott World Marathon Majors and a sought-after, premium running event! Dream Travel is proud to bring you guaranteed entries into this fantastic event!

This prestigious event takes place on Sunday, September 21th, 2025 with 55,000 runners from around the world!  Finish this incredibly flat, fast marathon by crossing through the famous Brandenburg Gate!

Who May Purchase?

Any Canadian who will be 18 or older on Sunday, September 21st, 2025 may purchase one of our guaranteed entry packages.  If you are not Canadian, but are living full time in Canada, you must contact us before registering.

Initial Deposit and Final Payment

An initial deposit of CAD700 per runner plus the Race Roster processing fee will be charged upon registration using Race Roster’s online registration form. The CAD700 will be converted to Euros and applied to your package. The balance of your package must be paid no later than April 1st, 2025.

You may pay your balance in Euros by Wise or by credit card or e-transfer in CAD.  If paying by CAD we will convert it to Euros and apply to your package.

This deposit is non-refundable unless we can resell your entry, so we highly recommend travel insurance.  We sell an insurance that allows you to cancel for any reason!

The Crowne Plaza Berlin – Potsdamer Platz is situated 2KM from Brandenburg Gate (finish area) and roughly 2.5KM from the Start area of the marathon.  This means that you can easily walk both to the marathon in the morning and then back to the hotel post marathon without having to worry about taking public transportation.

Crowne Plaza Berlin – Potsdamer Platz offers rooms with one European queen bed (160cm by 200cm) or rooms with two single beds (90cm by 200cm).  Rooms with two single beds will only fit one person each.

*1 Runner/1 Non Runner – A package for either someone traveling on their own and wants their own room, or, one runner and one additional person in the room who either is not running or already has an entry via the lottery or time qualification. Price is the total for both people.  If you want more than 2 people in your room you will need to upgrade to a larger one.  Contact us for details and rates.

*2 Runners Sharing – A package for a couple or two friends, both of whom are running with entries from Dream Travel.  Price is per person.

What are the minimum three nights we have to stay?
The three included nights are Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

Is my race entry guaranteed?
Yes, we are an authorized tour partner of this race and only sell guaranteed entries.

Are these prices in CAD?
Prices are in Euros but you may pay by credit card or e-transfer in CAD or by Wise in Euros. If paying by CAD we will convert and apply your payment to Euros.

Is airfare or airport transfers included in this package?
Airfare and airport transfers are not included.

What is the time limit for this race?
6 hours and 15 minutes.

What happens if I take more than the limit?
Normally this is not an issue, but depending on how much additional time you need, you may need to run on sidewalks.  Runners who take longer than the official time are not guaranteed a race medal, but usually receive one.

Do I have to pick up my race bib myself, or can someone do that for me?
Runners must pick up their own bib and no one, including family members or Dream Travel staff members, are permitted to pick up your bib on your behalf. That said, it is highly recommended that you fly in earlier rather than later in case of flight delays or cancellations.

Can I stay at a different hotel?
We have a contract with our hotel meaning that we can only permit runners to stay at the authorized hotel listed above.

Can I collect hotel loyalty points?
Hotels do not offer loyalty points for group bookings, however, you can still ask the front desk to add your loyalty number at check in and the hotel will give you points/credit for all incidental charges.

How do I get to the start line and back to the hotel after the marathon?
We purposely chose the hotel that we did as it’s walking distance to both the Start and the Finish areas.

Do you have triple or quad rates?
Most-likely yes but will ultimately depend on the hotel’s availability and room types.  Please contact us for rates.

I need to cancel; can you help me?
This really depends on when you cancel and whether or not you purchased the correct insurance.  If you purchased insurance and are cancelling for an included reason, or you purchased the CFAR insurance, then you can cancel at any time but you must let us know as soon as you need to cancel. If you did not purchase insurance, then it’ll depend on when you cancel and if we can resell your package. Contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do everything we can to assist you!

Average September temperatures in Berlin average between +11 and +19 degrees Celsius.

How do I get to the start line and back to the hotel after the marathon?
We purposely chose the hotel that we did as it’s walking distance to both the Start and the Finish areas.

With paid insurance you will be able to cancel for insurable reasons as well as running injuries (doctors letter required) while training! Note that your credit card most-likely does not have nearly enough coverage!  OR get CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) coverage with certain policies from us when you purchase your coverage within 72 hours of placing your initial deposit!

As these are guaranteed entries (versus lottery, Wanda Age Group, etc), Berlin will not refund, defer or allow for a cancellation under any circumstance.  That said, our policy needs to be as such:

-You may cancel your package for a credit, but only if we are able to resell your entry package and only if it’s prior to registration closing (expected to be in July of 2025).

If we can resell your package, the following fees will apply:

• 15% of your  payment amounts if cancelling 120 days or more prior to registration closing
• 25% of your  payment amounts if cancelling between 14 and 119 days prior to registration closing
• 50% of your  payment amounts if cancelling 13 days or less prior to registration closing
• 100% of your deposit and payment amounts if cancelling after registration has closed or at any time if we’re unable to resell your package

The difference between what you paid and the fee listed above will be held as a credit for you for 24 months from the time you made your last payment for this particular package. Credits may only be used for events listed on our website.

Why We Charge a Fee
We must pre-purchase a large number of guaranteed, non-refundable, non-deferable entries from the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON at a substantial cost and when someone commits to an entry and then cancels, we then have to resell the entry, pay the marathon a name change fee, re-advertise, re-register someone else and that’s all on top of sizeable bank fees.  Purchasing applicable insurance and cancelling for an insurable reason will prevent you from losing your deposit and payments and will cover these fees as well.  See the information on insurance above.
