Who May Purchase?

Anyone who will be 18 or older on Sunday, April 13, 2025 may purchase one of our guaranteed entry packages.

Deposit

A deposit of $500 per runner in CAD plus the Race Roster processing fee will be charged upon registration using the Race Roster’s online registration form.  The balance of your package must be paid no later than December 31st, 2024. This deposit will be placed towards your package amount.

Deposits are non-refundable so we highly recommend travel insurance.

Packages

We will provide guaranteed entry as part of a complete package which, at a minimum, must include a 4 night hotel stay. Considering that this event takes place in Europe, we highly recommend that you arrive earlier to avoid flight delays/cancellations and jet lag. We can add additional nights at our group rate. We are not permitted to sell entry only.

What’s Included in Your “Runner’s” Package

• Guaranteed entry into the 2025 Schneider Electric Paris Marathon
• 4 nights at the Hotel Splendid Etoile, just steps away from the Arc de Triomphe (Check in on Thursday April 10, Check out on Monday April 14)
• Breakfast
• WiFi
• Local daily tax
• Finisher materials: medal, food and beverages, heat sheet
• A clothing bag OR a voucher for the poncho on your bib number (depending on what you have chosen at your registration)

Not Included with your Package

Travel insurance, airfare, meals and items of a personal nature are not included in your package.

After You Register

After you register on the Race Roster website and pay your deposit, Dream Travel will contact you to obtain additional information via the email address you provided. Therefore, you must ensure that your email address is correct and you are responsible for monitoring it closely as Dream Travel will contact everyone via email.

Medical Certificate

As of the 2025 Paris Marathon, runners will no longer be required to fill out a medical certificate!

Cancellation Policy

As the Schneider Electric Paris Marathon does not permit refunds, cancellation or deferral unless they cancel the event, our packages are non-refundable without insurance and entries may not be deferred.  However, we do appreciate that things can happen and we will do the best to help you if you need to cancel.

If you need to cancel AND we are able to resell your entry package prior to the marathon’s registration deadline, the following fees will apply:

• 15% of your payment amounts if cancelling 120 days or more prior to registration closing.
• 25% of your payment amounts if cancelling between 7 and 119 days prior to registration closing.
• 50% of your payment amounts if cancelling 6 days or less prior to registration closing.
• 100% of your deposit and payment amounts if cancelling after registration closes or at any time if we’re unable to resell your package

The difference between what you paid, and the fee listed above will be held as a credit for you for 24 months from the time you made your last payment for this particular package. Credits may only be used for events listed on our website.

Note that these fees are refundable if you purchase insurance and cancel for an insurable reason.

Insurance

Each year we have many people cancel due to unforeseen circumstances who did not purchase our travel insurance meaning they end up losing their package amount.  Protect yourself and your money by purchasing our Group Insurance through ManuLife.

With our insurance you will be able to cancel for insurable reasons as well as running injuries while training and we also sell a Cancel For Any Reason policy!  We offer various other insurance packages including Cancellation, Interruption, Medical and Baggage. Please note that the insurance coverage that you may have on your credit card will not cover you completely! We are unable to process insurance for those living in Quebec – please contact your local travel agency for coverage.

We are staying at the Hotel Splendid Etoile which is literally just steps from the Arc de Triomphe where the marathon both starts and finishes!  Both breakfast and WiFi are included daily.

Choose from a Standard room that has one double bed, or a Premium room that has either a queen bed or two single beds, a balcony, a bathtub and is 100 square feet larger than a Standard Room.

Prices are in Euros  and packages are based on a four night hotel stay for 1 or 2 adults.  Additional nights may be purchased either before and/or after the weekend as well.

*Standard rooms have one double bed in the room. If you want a queen bed or two single beds, you will need to upgrade to the Premium room which also has a bathtub, balcony and is 100 square feet larger.

What are the minimum four nights we have to stay?
Everyone in our group must check in no later than Thursday April 10 and will check out Monday April 14 unless you wish to stay longer. Contact us for rates for additional nights.

What’s the weather like?
Average April temperatures in Paris average between +8 and +17 degrees Celsius. Perfect for running!

How do I get to the start line and back to the hotel after the marathon?
You can walk to and from the marathon start and finish as it’s extremely close to both.
