Sunday September 29, 2024

It is up to each person to ensure they meet all travel requirements, including but not limited to vaccine status, passport validity, visas, etc.

Your booking details (dates of stay, hotel name and address, package type) will be listed on your invoice that we send out. When you receive it, please let us know if there are any errors.

To ensure you don’t have to move rooms or hotels, please request your additional nights as soon as possible. The group hotel has limited space!

Each runner must pick up their own bib at the race expo and need to show either their driver’s license or their passport along with their Start Card.  There is no race day bib collection.

Your Start Card is required to pick up your bib from the expo along with your government-issued ID. The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON will email this to you.

At the Race Expo you will be issued a wristband that you must not take off until after you finish the marathon.

The Race Expo is located at the former Airport Tempelhof.
Where:  Flughafen Tempelhof, Platz der Luftbrucke 5
Thursday TBD
Friday TBD
Saturday TBD

Click here for more information on the expo.

From the Crowne Plaza, walk to Hallesches Tor (900m) and take the U train 2 stops to U Platz der Luftbrucke (direction of Alt-Mariendorf). From there walk to the former airport (500m).  Roughly 22 minutes in total.

All runners will receive a free transportation card via email that is good for zones A, B and C and from September 22 until September 25.

Everyone will receive a ChampionChip at the Race Expo which need to be attached to your running shoe.  After you finish the marathon you must return this chip to one of the many chip return areas immediately after crossing the finish line.  Note that the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON will charge people for not returning it.

In order to run the marathon, you must show up with:
1 – Your race bib
2 – Your ChampionChip
3 – Your wristband that was issued at the Race Expo

Any runner who is completing their Six Star journey must have a complete profile on the Six Star website, claim all previous results and register no later than 14 days before the sixth race.  If you fail to do this, you will NOT receive the Six Star medal at the finish line.

Please click here to register or access your runner portal and complete the “Set for No.6” section.

Dream Travel will be onsite all weekend long.

We will add an emergency cell number one week prior to the marathon. This is ONLY for emergency contact.

Start Cards and Final Instructions
Two or three weeks prior to the marathon you will receive your start card information as well as details on your bib pick-up and transit ticket.

All mailed start cards will be available to download from your personal user account.

Getting to/from the Marathon Start
We chose the Crowne Plaza as it’s roughly a 15-18 minute walk to the entry of the park where the marathon starts and finishes.  You can take public transportation if you prefer.

There will be 4 waves to alleviate the strain of having everyone start at the same time starting at 9:15AM.

You will each be assigned a Wave Start based on your estimated completion time and the marathon will email you your information closer to the race date.
